Download and installation GedFiliations is written in Java and is multi-platform. It runs on Windows, Linux and possibly other operating systems. Here are the minimum system requirements:

Windows  The Windows installer uses InstallAnywhere and is very easy to run. After downloading the executable, just run it (wgf11e.exe) and follow the on-screen instructions. Windows Installer (16MB) |

Linux  After downloading, open a shell and, cd to the directory where you downloaded the installer. At the prompt type: sh ./lgf11e.bin Linux Installer (34MB) |

Macintosh OS X  All releases of Macintosh OS X are suppose to include a fully functional Java Virtual Machine, just make sure it is version 1.4.1 or just try it! Be aware that only the Windows and Linux platforms were tested. If you want to use this on a Mac OS, you will have to try it first. This is another good reason to have a trial version! Other Platforms  If you wish to try installers for other platforms, you will require to separately install the VM. You need JRE 1.4.1.
